The Vacancy
Hi, I’m Danny and I currently live in the Maryhill area of Glasgow. I’m in my late 20’s and I am recruiting for a new Personal Development Worker (support worker type role) to help me live my good life where I will be helping others and develop my own skills.
I really enjoy meeting new people, people say I am very out-going and enjoy chatting 'I could talk for Scotland'. I love sharing my life with others, whether that is with family, my girlfriend, friends or neighbours.
For the last few years my focus was on developing my DJing skills so I could run my own DJ business. I have played my own gigs and supported other people too. During lockdown I did lots of DJ live stream shows from my home. I still enjoy DJing but I’m looking for my next challenge – can you help me discover it?
I also used to be really active, playing football at weekends and training through the week. I also enjoyed lots of cycling. Could you help my regain my focus to keep me healthy, safe and well as possible?
I am looking for a new team member with a mature outlook who will guide me, who can be a role model, a good citizen and motivate me when needed. Perhaps you are retired (or semi-retired) or work elsewhere and looking for a part-time role where you will have job satisfaction by helping me live my best life.
Although I live in Maryhill, I usually meet my team members in a place that suits both of us, often Glasgow city centre, the west end or east end.
1 position - 10 Hours Per Week, over 2 days.
My usual hours of support are 12pm - 5pm.
