Could you be the perfect match for Darren?

Darren is 24 years old and with a dedicated team of Personal Development Workers (support worker type role) around him, lives in his own home in Blantyre.

Darren’s team of Personal Development Workers (Dawn, John, Natalie, Lisa and William) think he is pretty amazing, they describe him as inquisitive, playful, determined, sweet, active and adventurous.

They love supporting him every day to live his good life and are looking for more good people to join them so Darren can do more of the things that bring him joy such as swimming, painting, crafting and hopeful for Darren to trying new things – perhaps cycling and horse riding.

Can you walk alongside Darren, learning from him as well as helping him to navigate all that life throws at him? Can you wrap around Darren and be who he needs you to be on any given day?  Supporting him to make sense of the world around him.

Darren tells us that his day-to-day routine is very important to him, he likes knowing that he can trust and feel safe in the people around him. He loves setting out on long walks no matter the weather. Does this sound like something you’d enjoy? Rain, hail, sleet, snow or sun, enjoying being outdoors and all the benefits it brings.

Being a driver would be an advantage as Darren likes to go coastal walks along quiet beaches or amongst woodlands in large country parks.

Could you be the right match for Darren? Can you help him live in his own home, get out on adventures and feel equally a part of his local community?

If so, we would love to hear from you. (full time and part time available)
