The Vacancy
Are you interested in and can chat about History? Music? Politics? Beatles music? Are you patient? calm? a straight talker? confident? encouraging?
Does this sound like you? If so, you might be the person I am looking for.
I’m Archie and I’m looking for new team members to support me to keep living my good life, which involves family, food and music. I’m late 60’s and with support, live in a flat of my own whilst still visiting my wife and grandkids at our family home nearby.
I’m a foodie at heart so I am looking for people who will support me to re-ignite my passion for cooking, the more adventurous the better! Alongside family and food, I love music and I am a huge Beatles fan, so be prepared to have your knowledge tested or to learn more!
People who know and care for me, describe me as an historian, intelligent, considerate and generous. Be aware, I’m also a straight-talker with a sense of humour to match.
As a match, you will be patient, calm and thick skinned to take on my sense of humour. It’s important you know I am a wheelchair user so you will need to be comfortable supporting me with that, don’t worry, you will be provided with all the required training to keep us both safe and well. You will also be confident supporting me with all aspects of my life, but my amazing team will help guide with this too.
Spending long periods of time together, it’s important to me that you have the ability to enjoy life, are honest and hold respectful conversations. Ideally you will be a driver too as I have a car which team members drive on my behalf.
